Convention Personnel Contracts
Complete Conductor Information Form in the database by April 1.
Complete Paid Clinician Information in the database no later than June 1.
Complete all other contracts by August 1.
Clinicians are assigned to each division as follows:
All-State Conductors:
Band: 7 @ $2500 each
Orchestra: 4 @ $2500 each
Vocal: 4 @ $2500 each
Contracted Featured Clinicians:
Band: 1 for 2 days @ $600 per day
Orchestra: 1 for 2 days @ $600 per day
Vocal: 1 for 2 days @ $600 per day
Elementary: 2 for 3 days @ $600 per day
College: 2 for 2 days @ $600 per day
* TMEA will not secure an All-State Conductor or Paid Clinician from Texas unless the person is retired or has been living out of Texas for more then 5 years.
* Do not enter into verbal agreements that bind TMEA to extra or large expenses above the honorarium.
* TMEA pays travel only in the continental limits of the U.S.
* Make sure the clinicians understand the possibility that all may not be perfect.
Example: acoustics, room size, stage size, etc.
* All contracted clinicians start receiving magazines as soon as we receive their signed contract.
* Please have clinicians arrange travel at least 45 days prior to the convention.
* Clinicians who suggest or show a book or product should be sure that exhibitors have this on hand at the convention.
