College Exhibits

Held at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, the TMEA Clinic/Convention attracts over 6,500  high school and college music students. With over 1,800 Texas All-State students and 3,000 college students in attendance, this is the exhibit show you can’t miss!

College Fair & College Night

3-Day College Fair

$750 (one-booth limit per institution)

Build visibility throughout the convention. Reconnect with alumni, meet prospective students and their parents, and network with future educators during all exhibit hall hours, including College Night. Full three-day presence means maximum exposure at one of the nation’s largest music education gatherings.

3-Hour College Night

$300 (one-booth limit per institution)

Make immediate, impactful connections in a focused three-hour window on Friday evening only. Connect with 1,800+ All-State musicians and 1,000+ Texas Future Music Educators as they explore their next steps in music education. Ideal for institutions that don’t need a full three-day presence in the exhibit hall.

College Exhibits Hours & Location

Located in Exhibit Hall 4, nearest Bridge Hall, all college booths are 10’ x 10’ corner booths arranged in islands for increased exposure. Each booth includes 8’ high back drapes, 3′ side drape, one 8’ undraped table, two chairs, and a 7” x 44” sign with your school name, all provided at no additional charge.

College Exhibit Policies

Exhibitors must adhere to all exhibit rules and regulations.

Booth Assignment

College booth assignments are made in the order applications are completed. Each institution is limited to one 10′×10′ booth, with no more than six representatives in the booth at any one time.

Texas Institutions

Each Texas institution must become an Institutional Member of TMEA. This membership ($55 dues) is automatically added to your booth application.

Texas Instructional Staff (full-time or part-time)

  • All instructional staff must be TMEA members ($65 dues) and register for the convention ($70 early registration).
  • Pick up badges at member registration and request an exhibitor ribbon. A ribbon is required for early and late access to the Exhibit Hall.

Texas Non-Instructional Staff (recruiter, admissions rep, registrar, etc.)

  • Up to three complimentary badges are available for non-instructional staff participating in the college exhibits. Badges include name and position/title.
  • Email staff name and position/title to zgersch@tmea.org.
  • Pick up badges at exhibitor registration.

Texas College Exhibitor Housing

Texas Institutional Members may reserve up to two hotel rooms through the exhibitor housing portal to help with booth move-in. TMEA exhibitor housing opens August 4. Institutions that have applied by then will receive an email from TMEA Exhibits with the housing portal link when it goes live, giving your institution a window to book before general member housing opens. TMEA monitors reservation activity, and any rooms reserved beyond the two-room limit through the exhibitor housing link will be canceled.

Out of State Institutions

Each out-of-state institution must become a Sustaining Member of TMEA.

  • This membership ($75 dues) is automatically added to the booth application.

Complimentary Badges

  • Three complimentary badges are included with your booth. Additional badges may be purchased for $30 each by emailing Zachary Gersch.
  • The badge request form will be available in January.
  • Pick up badges at exhibitor registration under your institution’s name.

Out of State Exhibitor Housing

TMEA exhibitor housing opens August 4. Exhibitors who have applied by then will receive an email from TMEA Exhibits with the housing portal link when it goes live.

College Reunions

TMEA publicizes a list of Friday night College Reunions in the convention schedule.

To be included in that list, email your college reunion location to the Administrative Director, Colleen Whatley, by November 1 for inclusion in the official convention program.

Additional Exhibitor Badges

Additional exhibitor badges are available for purchase for $30 each. Contact Zachary Gersch to order additional badges.
