New! Instructional videos: In a pilot partnership with Ensemble Block, an educational media and technology company, TMEA is providing access to high-quality instructional videos of the audition etudes. TMEA is offering this access at no cost to high school students who are preparing to audition. Featured practice tools include synchronized notation, looping, and slow‑down playback of the videos. Orchestra etude videos are expected to be available by July 14 and links will be posted on the Etude List page. Students can sign up now at go.tmea.org/2025etudevideos-orchestra.

Due to copyright restrictions, excerpts require an Active or Life type TMEA Membership within the last year. TMEA member director/sponsors must download the files and provide the excerpts and errata to students they are sponsoring in the audition process.

Pre-Area and Area Recording Cuts

All-State Chairing Audition Cuts

Get the cuts for All-State Chairing Auditions. Due to copyright restrictions, access to the cuts require a TMEA membership. TMEA member director/sponsors must log in to download the files and provide the cuts to students they are sponsoring in the audition process.

All-State students should log in to their All-State Dashboard to access the cuts.
