This is the official listing of the 2025–2026 Vocal Division All-State Audition Material.
All amendments, corrections and errata will become official only when it is published here.
Performance Notes are listed on each selection below when available.
Should you discover any errata in the music that may have been missed, please notify the TMEA Vocal Division Vice-President by August 30. No errata will be added after September 1.
Rehearsal tracks and a rehearsal/accompaniment CD will be available from Educational Enterprises Recording Company.
LSC = Large School Choir path open to UIL classes 1A–6A; All-State Mixed, Treble and Tenor-Bass Choirs
SSC = Small School Choir path open to UIL classes 1A–4A; All-State Small School Mixed Choir
Publishers: The Large School Choir will need approximately 15,000 packets. The Small School Choir will need approximately 3,000 packets.

            Going into the 2nd ending from mm. 37 to mm. 39, soprano 1, soprano 2, and alto 1 sustain the “ah” vowel as if they were notated with a tie. Alto 2 perform 1st and 2nd ending as written.
Alto 2 should sing "bum" mm. 15 beat 1.
Insert quarter rest on beat 2 of mm. 28 in soprano descant voice part.
Alto 2 disregard eighth rest at the end of mm. 32. Rhythm at mm. 32 should be performed like mm. 24.
Sop 2 should sing A# (instead of A natural) at mm. 32 beat 1
Music misprint. M. 1-4 Alto 2 words should match other 3 parts. 
M. 19-20: Add staccato markings to soprano 1 part (to match the articulation of the other voice parts) 
M. 31: Alto 1 and Alto 2 should sing the word “dong” on the downbeat on mm. 31 to match the text of the Soprano 1 and Soprano 2 voice parts.
