This is the official listing of the 2025–2026 All-State Mariachi Ensemble Audition Material.
All amendments, corrections and errata will become official only when it is published here.

New! Instructional videos: In a pilot partnership with Ensemble Block, an educational media and technology company, TMEA is providing access to high-quality instructional videos of the audition etudes. TMEA is offering this access at no cost to high school students who are preparing to audition. Featured practice tools include synchronized notation, looping, and slow‑down playback of the videos. Mariachi etude videos are expected to be available by July 1 and links will be posted below. Students can sign up now at go.tmea.org/2025etudevideos-mariachi.

All-State Mariachi Ensemble Instrumentation

All-State Vocal Solo Auditions

After All-State Mariachi Ensemble students are selected, vocal solo auditions will be held virtually before the convention. All-State Mariachi Ensemble students may audition for multiple vocal solos. Additional information will be sent to directors/member-sponsors about the recording process.

Audition materials will be available below to directors/member-sponsors after the Area auditions are complete and final.
