Through a gentle, child-centered approach, Jennifer Archuleta explores how thoughtful sequencing and sound-before-symbol learning support students’ understanding of pitch relationships. This course examines how experiences with high and low, steps and skips, and shared musical language create the conditions for meaningful learning while honoring developmental readiness.

About the Presenter
Jennifer Archuleta is an elementary music educator with more than ten years of experience nurturing musical growth in young learners. She mentors emerging teachers and supports undergraduate practicum students as the cooperating teacher for the University of North Texas’ Advanced Techniques and Materials for Elementary General Music Instruction course. She is also Kodály-certified and active in professional presenting and curriculum development.
