Course Description
Having a fun game is not always enough. HOW we introduce a game or song to our students can make the difference in their level of interest and engagement. Vicky Suarez will present ways to bring playfulness, intrigue, suspense, and delight into your upper elementary music classroom.
About the Presenter
Vicky Suarez teaches PreK-8th grade General Music and Middle School Choir at Dealey Montessori and International Academy, a public magnet school in Dallas. A graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington (BM) and Southern Methodist University (MM), Vicky is also a SongWorks Certified Educator. She holds Orff Schulwerk Level 3 Certification and is a National Board Certified Music/Early and Middle Childhood Teacher. Vicky lives in Richardson with her husband, Rob, and enjoys playing the flute in the New Texas Symphony Orchestra.
