The official magazine of TMEA, Southwestern Musician, is published monthly August through May (no March issue) and sent to Active, Retired, Institutional, and Sustaining members. The magazine is also available online. Archives of articles in previous issues is on the magazine section of the website.Emailed newsletters are sent monthly to provide business updates and information on member opportunities.

Clinic Recordings and Handouts
TMEA records clinic sessions and the speakers at the general sessions. These audio files and session handouts are available through the TMEA website for one year following the convention to registered convention attendees who paid the additional $10 for the service (payable at time of registration for the convention).
Texas school administrators may post music education vacancies and search the Online Résumé database. The Job Vacancy database is available for those seeking employment, as well as a venue to post résumés.
The TMEA Mentoring Network is a proactive mentoring network that links successful music education professionals (advisors) with new Texas music educators (protégés) and offers a proactive program of one-on-one mentoring to each new music teacher for a minimum of one year.
