Bastrop ISD is seeking an Elementary Music Teacher for Mina Elementary beginning January 2027. Our current music teacher will be retiring in December after many years of service to Bastrop ISD.

Mina Elementary, located in downtown Bastrop, recently opened a newly rebuilt campus on its existing site, including a new dedicated music classroom. The position includes a dedicated music supply budget, professional learning/conference funds, and a additional Fine Arts stipend.

Candidates should hold or be eligible to obtain appropriate Texas music certification and must be available to begin at the start of the spring semester in January.

Applicants are encouraged to apply online and may also send a PDF résumé to Marc Telles, Director of Fine Arts.
