HF Stevens MS is a growing 2A band program just south of Fort Worth. We seek an energetic, enthusiastic band director to join our team. Current Texas teaching certificate required. Strong knowledge of brass pedagogy required. Percussion experience a strong plus. Responsibilities will include teaching percussion and beginner classes of your specialty, leading Non-Varsity band, helping with Varsity band. Strong communication skills desired – admin, high school personnel, parents, faculty, others in similar positions throughout district. Title 1 environment; A-B-C block scheduling. Must understand needed working hours of MS band program.
