All-State Choir Audition Material

This is the official listing of the 2026–2027 Vocal Division All-State Audition Material.
All amendments, corrections and errata will become official only when it is published here.

Performance Notes are listed on each selection below when available.

Should you discover any errata in the music that may have been missed, please notify the TMEA Vocal Division Vice-President by August 30. No errata will be added after September 1.

Rehearsal tracks and a rehearsal/accompaniment CD will be available from Educational Enterprises Recording Company.

Classification Tracks

The Vocal division has two classification tracks leading to the All-State choirs:

  • 5A–6A Track leads to the All-State 5A–6A Mixed, Treble, and Tenor-Bass Choirs. This track is available to all students.
  • 1A–4A Track leads to the All-State 1A–4A Mixed Choir. This track is available only to students from schools with UIL classification 1A–4A (for schools without a UIL classification or Homeschool students, see Eligibility Requirements to determine your classification).

Students who are eligible for multiple tracks can advance past the Region level in only one track per audition year. The track they are auditioning for will be declared when entering them in the first audition that leads to All-State.

Publishers: The 5A–6A Track will need approximately 15,000 packets. The 1A–4A Track will need approximately 3,000 packets.
