TMEA is pleased to announce that the 2009 President’s Concert will feature the United States Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants.

Join the President's Concert Chorus (TMEA members only) A President's Concert Chorus featuring TMEA members will join The USAF Band and Singing Sergeants in collaborative works for chorus and wind ensemble. Chorus registration is September 29-November 1.

USAF Concert Band
The United States Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants come together to form the flagship musical ensemble of The United States Air Force Band. This combined group represents the best-of-the-best in musical talent and education within the United States Air Force.
The Concert Band—the premier band of the United States Air Force—is a world-class symphonic wind ensemble. The 52-member band performs a wide variety of musical repertoire from light classics, popular favorites, and instrumental features to the most serious classical transcriptions and original works for the band idiom. Remaining true to the Air Force’s pioneering spirit, The United States Air Force Concert Band has established an international reputation as a champion of new works for band, with dozens of world premieres to its credit.

USAF Singing Sergeants
The Singing Sergeants is the official 23-voice chorus of the United States Air Force and is one of the world’s most versatile and traveled choral organizations. The Singing Sergeants is one of a select few singing groups internationally recognized and respected for its continuing commitment to excellence in vocal performance.

Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at convention registration and the Convention Information Booth.
