King's Singers Concert

February 13, 2008 -- 8 p.m.
Lila Cockrell Theater, San Antonio

TMEA is proud to announce that the King’s Singers will be adding to an already exciting concert schedule with a performance Wednesday, February 13 in Lila Cockrell Theater during the 2008 TMEA Clinic/Convention. This premier vocal ensemble last performed for TMEA members at the 2001 convention to a sold-out crowd.
Started in 1968 by six Choral Scholars from King’s College Cambridge, the King’s Singers quickly became a prominent musical force in the UK. The rest of the world soon followed so that today the group’s engagements are spread throughout the four corners of the globe. Before arriving at the TMEA convention, the King’s Singers’ 2007-2008 season has them performing in the UK, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, and across the U.S.
