Out-of-State Membership

I do not live or work in Texas, but would like to attend the TMEA Clinic/Convention

Thank you for your interest in the TMEA Convention, the largest state music educators association in the nation.

Music educators who do not live or work in Texas are not required to join TMEA in order to attend the annual convention unless they desire CPE credit. No CPE credit is given to non-members. Membership is available to you should you choose to join.

Request a new member account
To join and/or register online, click here to request a new account (select "Out-of-State" as the Member Type); or contact our Membership Department at susand@tmea.org; or call (888) 318-TMEA x300. You will be provided a login and password. Once you have acquired a login and password, you can use the link at the end of this page to register online.

One of the following browsers is required to register online: (The SSL cipher strength must be at least 128-bit.)

- Netscape 7.X - 8.X (except for version 8.0)
- Firefox 1.0 - 2.0.X.X
- Apple Safari 1.85.6 - 2.X (except for version 1.100)

If you receive an error during Check Out or any other time while visiting this site, please email Susan Daugherty with a detailed description of the error you are receiving (if possible, hit the "Print Screen" button while the error message is visible and paste into a word document).

Do not click the "Submit" button more than once. Your account will be charged every time you click "Submit."
